It’s one of the better novelty-cover albums. Bust out “The American Song-Poem Anthology: Do You Know the Difference Between Big Wood and Brush” to separate the metaphorical men from the boys.
I’ve been thinking of picking up the William Shatner/Ben Folds album (and, dammit, I was just at the record store for somethin’ else). Have any of you heard it?
Not me, Billy. Just the snippets played by NPR. Personally, Shatner’s audio projects fit, for me, in the a-little-goes-a-long-way category. Your mileage may vary.
